For years I searched for answers to why I worried all the time, why I hurt so much inside regardless of my success, why I struggled in relationships, and why, in the past, I used alcohol to drown stress or to induce social confidence.
After 20-plus years of working with more traditional psychology models I was still not happy. And when I did have therapy I often felt wounded and sad after. Then I learned about Sydney Banks’ “Three Principles.” The Principles didn’t point to pain or the past, but rather towards everything in me that was not that. At last, I didn’t have to struggle through life continually trying to fix myself. This was life changing for me.
